Great 3rd quarter from Ireland. Saved the game. Doing well drawing Fletch out from goal, just need to convert.

I really enjoyed that game. Aussies played really well in 3 quarters. Just watching I think they handball too much, and need to go for the 6 pointers a little more, they had a few chances but didn't go for it. But all round it was very entertaining. But just one game? Its not a series if its just one game. Surely they need atleast 2 games. That aspect is a little disappointing.

Mate, I can't believe they got 38,000+ to the game. Even on TV the atmosphere sounded electric and the crowd really got in to it.

The Mexican wave was incredible, I know a lot of people were disgusted by the 'immature crowd' but would you rather have people throwing empty beer cups in the air or being involved in a soccer riot?

Better crowd than any of the SA/Aus one dayers got.

Was a cracking second half once Ireland got going. Good crowd and atmosphere as well. They had an Irish festival serving Guinness outside the ground before the game that you could get into with your match ticket. Bit of diddly diddly music as well.
