09 NRL Select 3 Packs 2 Gems!

I just bought three packs down at the local newsagents. My g/f laughed at the way I selected three different packs from different parts of the box, but I ended up with 1 Slater & 1 Gallen Gem card. I thought that was a decent result Had to share.

My g/f does the same thing.
I was the one laughing though when I bought 6 packs from 2 different newsagents and got 5 gem cards.
Both newsagents opened new boxes and I had the pick of the box. It was awesome.

There is a technique.
Just use your thumb to feel for the bumps on the gem cards.

Hey, it may be. But it works, and it is Selects fault for being so stupid for packing a card that you can find without even opening the pack.
I hope for their sake they don't do it for the classic series.

There is no need to be upset that you didn't think of it. :v: I heard the idea from someone else as well.

Precisely mate.
I have finished my set. Big thanks goes to Brplat for the help with one of the last cards I needed. So I am not buying packs anymore either. Just trying to give some advice on how to save some $$$.
I don't see what the problem is really
