I will say I have purchased boxes straight after release before, but if you have the patience and do due diligence on the seller , ebay generally will offer discount codes at the start of each month generally about $100. So if you can wait a couple of weeks and must have a box or two I would wait until then.

judging by most, it was a positive day and the drop went well.

I was worried about missing in the public release so got my mate to try for one i case I missed out....we didn't miss out
maybe it is the economical conditions we are in and not as many people were willing to splash out the $600
but the melts are at a minimum,unlike the last few previous releases

Given there are multiple bounty’s between $900 & $1000 the economic conditions are not really relevant. You can make 50%($300+) within 7 days of buying the product.
If you want to see the real reason all you need to do is sign up to LowKey discord and it’s pretty clear what’s gone down. It’s also indicative that this was the most targeted AFL release yet from professional networks and non afl card community.
The problem of sophisticated external flippers continues to grown and increase in volume, clearly selects strategy and method to mitigate also continues to get better. 37 eBay listings versus 100+ previously at the same point in time on premium releases really paints the picture

The supremacy release was amazing. There was 100s of presumptive "ORDERZ CONFIRMD" listings that disappeared when Select upped the anti.
This time around, as you point out, stuff all listings and checking their ebay history, hardly any sneakerboiz.

Absolutely the smart play is sell your boxes for profit and then use said profit to buy the cards you are after.

Any 2019 supremacy cards numbered to 90 available for $10? Nope. Will settle at $25-$50 for the low rated ones, but quality players will still command a good price

I think it's very interesting that genuine collectors have been considered collateral damage in Select's latest attempt to mitigate the sneakerbots. Don't necessarily disagree with it, just interesting.
I suppose you can argue over the definition of a 'collector'. Complaints like 'I ordered a box of Brilliance last year and now my Gem has been cancelled' are hard to have too much sympathy for when most of us here probably have 50+ Select orders over the years.
