So it goes from Clippers up 3-1, installed as title favourites by some stat gurus- to Houston making an historic comeback to take the series. Impressive. I'd written them off after game 4 (who didn't?)

I still thought with LA down 16 with 6min40 to go that they were not 100% out of it funnily enough, just how the game felt - but down the wire with Harden's ability to get to the line they should never lose there up 8 with 1min30 to go lol

So I'm starting to feel edgy about this Clippers Rockets game 7. Game 6 Clippers are rolling with a double digit lead, the Rockets look done and the Clippers who have been the vastly superior team for most of this series, are assured a WCF date. Nekkminnitiknow. Clippers choke. Big time. My 4 leg multi bet has Cleveland, Atlanta, Golden State and LA advancing and there's several hundred good reasons why I need Clippers to summon the grit and will of a Game 7 one legged Chris Paul. One more sleepless night.

I have been turned in the Hack-a argument.

I was on the "learn to shoot" side of things, but the Houston/La series had me utterly bored at times! It was ridiculous. I think Pop used it in moderation compared to McHale and Doc.

I think McHale has the best solution though. Make it so you can still do it, but not in the first 10 or 14 secs of the shot clock. Gives BOTH teams a chance to play first.

But, the real issue for me is stopping players from creating contact and drawing a foul. Rules need to change so that if you create it, it;s an automatic no call

Ok, so to me the real question is where do the clippers go from here?

Have the peaked? What do you change? Will DA leave as a free agent for greener pastures? Do you offer Blake Griffin to OKC for Kevin Durant? Or is CP3 the area to look for change (10 seasons, 7 playoff appearances, 0 conference finals) OR do they look to restock the bench, look for a more classic SG (over redick the combo guard / scoring PG) and upgrade Matt Barnes at SF thus moving him to the bench? Do Ballmer ask Rivers to coach only and give up front office role?

I think it's going to be fascinating offseason in LA, for both teams.

It's farked. The only reason why the rules to foul off the ball is still there is because some of the players like MJ and Larry Bird still endorsing it and saying players should make their free throws.

Yeah it could have been worse, I do think something needs to be done about it. But it did for Houston to pull Dwight off and put some pressure on Houston in the last half of the quarter.
They could have got over Houston and they almost did. Was looking shakey with a few minutes left.


I do think it will be difficult for Houston to Win from here on in. GSW just have too many good players for Houston to guard.
