COMC Mailbox Thread

If the team feels they won't get a clean scan from the case, then the card gets pulled and placed within a toploader.

@Moe@COMC

Can you please tell me why these two cards were removed from their cases? I did write a email informing not to remove them from the cases....

Both appear to be clean and new cases in the pictures? I honestly can not imagine how a satisfactory scan could not be obtained.

Yet cards like this processed around the same period are considered "clean scans"? The scratches look pretty visible from where I'm sitting...

Yep pretty poor in my opinion.

These apparent rules are so inconsistent that it only leaves people more confused and frustrated to begin with.

- Cards in old screw downs/ top loaders more often than not, get processed and charged fees. Not wanting to over-handle the cards are almost always used as the excuse.

- Cards in brand new one touch cases sometimes do and sometimes don't get removed. Wanting a cleaner scan is always the reasoning.

As shown with the images...the only certainty is the inconsistency in the way cards are handled.

I can't explain it, except it happens at the discretion of the Mailbox team. I don't work in that department, so I don't see the cases as they come in. All I can do is pass your feedback to the Mailbox team.

U need to hire new guys with better discretions haha as there decisions are and have been poor, on MANY occasions.
yep , tired of showing the evideness and nothibg been done about it, is there a direct email, phone link to mailbox team that anyof us can get our hands on would be great

All I can do is forward your messages, and all they'll do is tell me the same thing, over and over. I'm not sure what else to say, at this point.

I'm sure your situation is sometimes not easy due to the policies in place and the way it has been enforced.

But clearly, this is something that needs to be addressed properly, whether it's by those in charge of that department or someone even higher up. The inconsistency is evident in the photographs, banged up cases are sometimes passed through as OK, while brand new ones are removed...and for my cards, a lot of them end up in wrong sized top loaders.

The mailbox service has been in place for long enough that this shouldn't be a ongoing issue.

@Moe@COMC just a quick one.

I had a card sent to my mailbox with tracking and it was marked as delivered on ebay like this -

Delivered
Dec-27-14, 10:41 AM, REDMOND, WA 98052

Now assuming they had the address details correct on the letter, has their been any delay on the mail end during the holidays? I note it got to you on a Saturday and I hadn't received an email stating the card was being processed thats all. Usually the mail processing area is pretty good on that part hence my question.

Any help is greatly appreciated
