Offer @ reduced price (around 1/3 BV delivered). But if they are pretty common cards, I'd give em away or sell them super cheap (postage price).

I'd love to be your friend if you don't collect Jordan or LeBron and would want to give me their cards.

don't get me wrong I wouldn't expect anyone to give star/superstar cards.

I say if you don't want them and they aren't worth listing just send them. Better yet just do it without them knowing so they get a surprise!

If it was Metallica I would just send them to him.

I would say it depends on whether they expect you to send them to you, as a player collector. I know I have sent Billy some cards (coz he needed them), but then I look back at it, and he was the person who pointed me to join this site, provided help with that "mislabelled" Ultra LBJ RC and provided me with a link to a decent ebay snipe site. So it was like, I figured those cards were a nice way to say thanks for what you'd done.

On the other hand, if he expected me to send all Camby's & Stack's from my box breaks (even though I may be compiling that set), then I'd be annoyed.

Personally, I would probably wait, until I have a higher value GU/Auto/#'d card, or a variety of singles, and then offer them.

I sent metallica some stuff the other day. (NO charge at all) and I've done it for other members in the past

I was just wondering what everyone else was thinking on this.

My feeling is - I would hope - That what goes around comes around. So for example I sent metallica some stuff, and if he had some camby/stackhouse i needed he'd remember and send them to me.

I've only been a 'regular' member of the boards for about a month or two now and have only done a couple of deals.... Once I get to know people better and get to know all your addresses, then I'd have to problem sending any commons that I don't need....

I would give the cards away. If they have only a small value to sell on eBay and it will make someone happy, its worth just giving them.

A couple people have done it for me on this board and it really helps build the sense of community.

When I've sent people cards before I don't charge for postage. it's not worth the time sending someone an email asking them to pay me $1

i would do the same to anyone on here, but unfortunatly i have jack shit, next year i will be able to help people out, i dont have much at all at the moment for trade,
billy i can always send you doubles i have of ricky d, i have like 28 or sumphen. as soon as i start buying boxes and packs again, probally early next year, if i pull sumphen small that someone needs, id be happy to give it to em. i see why you brought it up, that parcel would of cost you 3 bucks to send, wasnt expecting that many

i misplaced his item (only time i have ever done such a thing) and i sent him an email back and said i could refund ya cash, or u can pick a card out of these 2 scans, the scan had about 14 cards on it. he picked the worst one for compensation (only making up for a jalan rose jersey tho lol 8) and he gave me a price for the lot. and when you have cards, you have been trying to dish off for a while its quite good to end up getting $70.00 for.

anyway thanks for that billy, you a good guy, lmk if u want some ricky ds and ill check if i have cambys and stackhouses but i highly doubt it.
i will return the favour, when i start buying again, but im hanging low for a little while as i have other things to worry bout atm and trying to enjoy my last month of school and then straight after schoolies :wink: :wink:

I'd much rather they have a good home in a good collection rather than sitting here in a pile of commons that don't mean much to me.

are you serious, i have to pay .90c for a padded bag. and then posage on how much it weighs. useally about $1-50-2.00 for the postage. not fair
its a good thing a few of the guys on here collect players that sell at real LOW prices. they nearly have no value at all, but that insert defiantly has value to me, helps my master of my FAVOURITE player, every card counts. thanks much appreciated

If you buy a box of 100 padded bags you get them for $36 (or 36 cents each)

as long it still fits through the letter thickness (the post office has a thick cardboard measuring thing to measure the thickness) it should be covered by $1-2
