TLA Player In Focus Limited Edition Cards - Released Each Monday 12pm

Doubt it. These are a licence to print money. They will trot them out at every opportunity. I am tipping one for each round - no split rounds this year so only one for each round, one each SOO and one each week of finals.
That’s for sure but probably a last minute realisation that a few more $$ could be made lol Be nice to be able to print $20 notes out of cheap cardboard Haha

seams a bit stupid, only 4 games in a weekend and that is called a round, so tla must be making a bit of coin off each card then, if it costs $20 each card, and lets say there are 81 cards sold, each with individual numbering, thats 1620 minus printers costs, materials, postage and padded bags, office staff, and logistics.
That must mean the cost of the actual card is next to nothing, as the $20 is being eaten up in all the other costs, because every business does not do things unless they are making a profit.
In conclusion, why is a packet/ box of cards so expensive when tens of thousands are being made for each series.

Yeah 4 games to a round does suck but you can't blame TLA for it, thats the way the NRL have set up the rounds and TLA have just followed the draw as is.

Was it 2014/15 Traders that where mass produced and a hit was something like 1 every 3 cases?

They are basically a $20 face of the game card ?? Think they are just trying to recoup some $$ from the die hards. If you were an average punter that just collected from a newsagent or the supermarkets you wouldn’t even know they were available.Good businesses no matter what industry you’re in have a business plan . TLA just seem to run a day to day operation which looks like it’s not paying off with the buy a case get another product we can’t get rid of free. The only saving grace for them is the machine they have that prints $20 notes.I can’t imagine those pif cards of that quality would do any good in the US basketball card market

That surprises me ?They look just as bad , if not worse . Probably a few more fans of the NBA then NRL makes it look that way .Do they do a certain amount or do the same thing with a 24 hour window? Good point though:thumbsup:
24 hour window and then print the amount ordered. I think they are pretty cool
