Probably better pic than 50% of the pics actually used through the set. LOL!
 
So can anyone confirm that the 3 Crystal Collection in a box are always the same player and that they are wider than the commons? I've seen multiple boxes that have all 3 1 player and I've busted 2 that were both miscut to be wider than the commons.
 
In the case I found them mixed 2-1 in most boxes, mine all the same size.
But I think we are seeing a fair few min-cut or misprints

I do really like the look of this card and the fact TLA are doing something different, but I dont see how these are worth the price a lot of people are asking.....for $40 yeah id probably buy one, but people are asking $200-400 for them which they can do but if signatures numbered to 130 are selling for less than a hundred, why are these so high?

I reckon they will drop quite a bit (some full NRL patches will fetch a premium)

So you are saying a 1 in 25 box insert is only worth $40 ...Now I see why ESP inserts are worth nothing .....

I understand what you are saying, but despite its huge odds there are still 250 of them out there.

Look at the young guns and league sensations prices already......limited to 130 each and some are already going for less than $70 a week out from the release.

Some of the previous years signature cards are selling in the $30/40 range.

As I said, I actually like the card and while I don't support either player on the card, I have no doubt the cost of them will drop to a point where i'm comfortable paying a reasonable price picking one up.

Id love to look back in 6-12 months time to see what they are selling for.

Look at some of the signatures that are $30 are they known players ......Doesn`t matter what ESP produce at the moment the prices crash so they are bound to drop eventually ....No one is holding a gun to a buyers head so why run someone down for trying to make a $$$$ .....

The seller hasn`t done anything wrong by saying it is a 1/1 card because it is ....They also have a picture that says on the card it is of 250 .....
It is not there fault if some people just don`t read ..

Everyone is entitled to there opinion that is what this sight is all about ....

But you know what the say about opinions , they are like A HOLES everyone has one and that is what it is all about weather it is right or wrong ......

Definitely not trying to run down the seller at all.......I hope they get as much as they possibly can for the card, but I personally in my opinion just don't see the current value of the Ribbon Cards at their current prices...even being 1 in 25 cases.

I think it just comes down to there is little confidence in the current product available .. Some great ideas and definitely improving each year but just lacking in execution....
 
Update from TLA:

‘It is with regret that there are some error cards in the 2017 NRL Elite Trading Cards Collection. Unfortunately, even though all of our cards go through strict and thorough approval processes and checks via the NRL, RLPA and at TLA, these unavoidable errors can still occur. As a result, TLA will be re-printing all of the affected cards, giving collectors the opportunity to surrender their error cards in exchange for the re-printed versions.

Please see below the list of cards being re-printed:

- Kalyn Ponga – Young Gun Signature (YG 9/16)
- Johnathan Thurston – 2002 Crystal Collection (CC16)
- Josh Starling – Silver Special (SS 079) and Sapphire Mojo (MS 071)

Please note that the re-printed cards will be available to be claimed up until the release of the 2018 Elite Collection, giving collectors 1 year to send in their error cards for exchange.

They can be sent to:

Suite 1.01-1.03

22-36 Mountain St

Ultimo NSW 2007

TLA will advise when the cards are available to be sent out

One thing worth considering is the total number of each set, there are 250 of the Daily M and 2080 Young Guns. My guess of the value the Dally M card in 1 years time will be over $100 at the very least.
