So much thought and effort was put into a lot of these sets by the manufacturers in the 90's. Definitely the golden age for collecting!

Are they the plastic style ones? I recall stadium club clear cut being early on in the piece, and also metal slick silver.

1996-97 Fleer - I don't mind this Fleer base card design. It's fairly basic which is fine. The all-star card also looks ok for a low end product. Interesting having the combination of bordered and non-bordered cards.

1996-97 - Not a bad design here for Hoops. Don't mind what they've done here with the logo's. The rookie logo is great and the all gold rookie insert is looks pretty cool for a common insert (can't think of the right term for the raised "rookie" text on the card).

1996-97 Collectors Choice - Funny that even though this set appears to be clearly aimed towards kids, i was never really interested in it. The "You Crash the Game" cards never excited me either. It's a pass for me.
