Select Optimum 2021

I can see a dud box being closer to $200 than $300 easy. I can’t sell a Suns specialist for $20 and Saints for $25, and a dogs headliner for $35. Had them for sale at this price for days. Add in a copper sig ($35) and gold ($50) and some Optimum + and parallels and I can see it being $200 if no big hits. I just sold a low number gold sig for $35, I started higher and just kept lowering until it sold, if you don’t hit one of the big hits and get some of the less desirable teams with the box hits then there’s no way your making your money back. I still don’t mind this release, but it’s not a guarantee like Brilliance or Supremacy. But then again series 2 never has been.

My father-in-law always says to me "enjoy the process".
My SCC box from Select has been missing from StarTrack' tracking system for two weeks.
According to Select it was re-scanned on Tuesday and delivery would be Wednesday.

"The Process" is just the footpath to failure. All in my opinion.

Sorry to hear about your boxes. Terrible time to try getting stuff.

Here is my stash that has been packed away under the stairs for the last 3 weeks ;)

Port and Crows dual sigs are ready to be redeemed. Signature placement is extremely questionable.

Have to say that the team at Spike usually have some nice designs, this isn't one of those occasions. So many issues with this design I could spend an hour going through them.

The fact Select would be sending cards to the players to sign mainly due to COVID, instead of having someone with them when they sign gives you these results where players do their "best" when signing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the positioning of a signature can make or break a card. I just pray Worpel and Mitchell get it right because both have very nice signatures. I would have thought Select would have left no stone unturned when it came to making sure these were signed correctly.

spot on mate, plenty of examples in previous years of cards ruined/diminished by poor signature placement.
i trust that riewoldt and disco roach wont drop the ball for richmond collectors!

People struggling to give away cards now!

I am not sure if people are that broke, but sales pages seem to be very quiet. Funny enough, the breaks pages are still filled really quick

Some Specialists from good supporter based clubs are well under $50, and lesser clubs as low as $20 each. Headliners are roughly the same. Prices have dramatically plummeted.

I mean there is a 33% chance that a box will contain a platnium signature, influential or a medal card so there's worse $30 gambles

There may be a 33% chance of either of those in the box but then people have a 1/18 chance of that 33% chance actually being their team.
