What we need are new Australian Baseball cards. I urge everyone to contact "Select Australia" via there website and send them a letter to show people want Australian Baseball cards.
Even if you don't collect baseball cards can you send "Select Australia" an email via there website.
It would be good wouldn't it. But as Owen said, if they're not making Cricket or A-league cards then ABL cards are a loooooooong way off unfortunately.
Why would an AUstralian company that already apparently does **** all for the current Ip's it has spend millions to get American Ip's (that are already help anyway).

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think MLB are major stakeholders in the ABL (Australian Baseball League). Hence probably harder to get licensing one would think...
Either way i cant see it happening, although i do greatly admire you're optimism and passion and i hope to actually catch a Perth Heat game this year.
Good luck mate. Can never hurt to ask I suppose.
I mentioned to @adidasau on Twitter that they should look at making trading cards of all their athletes, as Australian trading cards are lacking somewhat. Would have access to a large array of game/match worn items etc... They thanked me for the idea and said they'll take it on board for future planning. Wouldn't think anything would come of it, but if anyone else was interested maybe let them know?

fisher & pykel who were netball australia's sponsor made a couple promo sets ages ago, but no there's never been a real netball card set, but with over a million girls participating in the sport here, it's got a huge potential and not sure about anyone else, but netball players on cards are easier to look at then 7ft6in afro american blokes for me
Im sure somewhere some company made some promotional cards for Netball.
Apart from Select you have Goldie Marketing that made the cricket cards last year. There is also Wegart that make AFL sets and the Herald Sun, Telegraph and Courier Mail all have cards produced.
While Select is the only specialist card manufacturer in Australia there are a few companies that you can get cards made for promotions etc however they are not as good as quality as you get with Select.
Damm - i just used "Select" and "quality" in the same sentance.
