Screwdown Problems?

Just recently someone commented on my card instagram about how I shouldn't use screwdown cases because they mess up the cards (by sticking to the mag itself?). Well thanks to him I am now paranoid because most of my good stuff is in screwdowns. Should I just put all my cards in penny sleeves and top loaders or is this something I shouldn't worry about? Any input would be great guys!

Every card ive received in a screwdown when purchasing has had corner damage. Like it hasnt been done correctly when put in or has moved over the years. I use magnetic holders.

Havent had an issue with cards sticking in the screw downs though personally

I think I am just going to make sure the screw downs aren't too tight and I should be good, I think that's what causes them to stick

Make sure you get the right size screw down for the right card. If the screwdown is not thick enough for the card, then it will squeeze the card.

There are screw downs with diamond corners (I think that is what they are called) like on one touch holders. You should not have damage to the corners if these ones are used.

If at any point you have a card stick to the cover of a screw down, you just unscrew the cover, then just leave the card for a day or so, then the lack of pressure may help it come off......hopefully.

I made sure the cards fit in the screw downs and they weren't screwed down really tight. I don't think I will have any problems

I have heard that about screw downs - because people screw them too tight, never heard it about magnetics.
I know some people don't like cards shipped in magnetics as they allow a small amount of movement inside the case.

I thought most people had moved away from screwdowns for the obvious issues they can cause. I think they are safe if the cards are handled correctly and the right size is used, but with the ease and safety of 1 touches I just avoid screwdowns entirely.
