The top 5 is probably right IMO (though I'd have Slater and Smith at 1 and 2). A lot of the rest looks like they just pulled names out of a hat.

It does seem a bit like that but I'm sure you could ask everyone that follows league and you wouldn't get any two the same.....its obviously pretty subjective and a subject to be discussed over a beer or ten.

Jamie Lyon and Brett Stewart I rate them but do they have more influence over the sea eagles than Glenn Stewart DCE or Foran I wouldn't have though t so and how does Jorge Taufua even make the list?

Gallen surely should rate higher, I suppose playing busted at the end of the year didn't help.

Good to see Lachlan Coote in the list and Michael Gordon no where to be seen...any opinion GIRDS

You could go on for ever....Josh Morris 12th wow that seems high IMO

Tony Williams at 49 ahahah. At least Taylor plays decent some of the time. Tony Williams is the most useless player around, you just have to look at his performances for NSW and Australia to see that. He looks lost on the field, gives away penalties and drops the ball and most of the time fails to do the one job he is picked for - running over the top of defenders. He rarely does it. In the Australia/NZ game the other week players like Scott, Tamou and Gallen were making the metres and breaking the line while Tony Williams did nothing except make mistakes.

I dunno mate, Des didn't have much luck with him at Manly, can't see it changing that much when he moves to the Bulldogs. The guy has got potential to be a good player but i think he is very overrated. He was also flung into Origin and Tests a few years too early.

Interesting thread. I'd love to know how in hell you can compare all these. What on earth would the criteria be? As others have mentioned it's very subjective but even more so I reckon it's the opinion of the writer ONLY
