From the top of my head another PF I could say is LaMarcus Aldridge, he rebounds and scores. And if you count Amare as a PF, you could put him in there as well.

Neither Larmarcus or Amare had their RC seasons wiped out from injury....? So whats ya point? They have had serious injuries a couple of years into their careers!

Name another PF that has had a full year to train and learn from NBA coaches/players before his first season.

He was in the system yes, so he got to SEE a lot of what was going on... He didnt train to extremely late in the season, so your point on him train for a whole season is null and void.

fixed.. now u can laugh..! lol

6 double doubles, 6 guys over 20 points
also Eric Gordan had 32 points with a great clutch 3
John Wall 32 point and 10 assists

How is it "null and void"? You don't think players learn anything from listening, watching and being around NBA players and coaches for a full year? Don't think he learned to read the game a little better then the regular rookie? If not why do you think the club bothered to keep him around? May aswell have sent him on holiday for a year.

Yes he did learn a bit not playing, but he would have learnt a lot more if he had of played. He is still going far better than anyone fro his own draft class as well and they all have a years playing experience

I'm not convinced Griffin will last. He's just too damn small!

What's he going to do against double-teams and the elite guys who are just bigger and longer than him. I'm not sold!!!

6'10 hes hardly small and he probably has a bit on all the big guys with vertical leap.............Charles Barkley was only 6'6 not that I'm comparing just saying PF's dont need to be huge if there good enough

Griffin is small? Look's pretty big to me....

I think a lot of people forget that both Rose and Griffin were number 1 overall picks. They essentially were determined to be the best players in the game prior to being drafted. Like so, they arent doing any better than they were expected to. They were drafted first overall because they were the best of the best from their class.

I think we are finding a surprise these days that the number draft actually spans out. We have some draft years where the number one pick flopped. Guys like Kenyon Martin, El Mago, Joe Smith etc.

Future investment?? I think both of these guys have hit their prime. So has durant when it comes to rookie prices.

Drose any day of the week!!! Rose has skilled talent, Griffin has raw talent. so Rose is already a proven superstar and we all know how much a point guard can put forward a team (cough cough Michael Jordan, Kobe).
