Goodfellas - 8/10

Scorsese weekend continues, yet another classic and a very longwinded effort. If you don't have 2.5 hours to spare don't bother.
Classic cast to say the least, this is a who's who of Hollywood gangster flicks.
This is another of those, I have no idea how I did not see this till now, movies.
Great stuff, give it a watch.

next up has to be CASINO..
good fellas is top of the Scorsese list but 'Casino' is right on its ass.
Sensational flick!

just viewed..and would like my 2 and a half hours back.
promising start, then a fast down hill slope to crap town.. yep 3/10*

Yep watched it over a couple of days. Just needed an ending that wasnt trash and it would have at least been bearable

I didnt mind the final scene being what it was but needed a tidy up/explanation for the rest of characters and what was happening

What's going on here? I can't remember this section. This feels like the nerdiest section of the website.

I watched the movie Taxi Driver about 10 times around November. Not fully but always rewinding before the end and starting again at the job interview. Probably my favourite film after the Exorcist.

"You lookin' at me? Why who the hell are you lookin' at.....are you lookin' at me?

I'm standing here. You make the move.

Faster then you, you f....sob.

Oh yeah?

The People's Liberation Army will ferret him out.

Zuckerberg is right to make these plans .Never mind WWIII The filthy rich whose toxic products made them rich are not going to be the most popular folks going forward. It could be open season on his type before too long. Devil!

The Departed - 8/10

As with all Scorsese flicks, very long winded.
Cast is off the charts and very well acted,
Cannot believe after all these years I have never seen this. Well worth a watch.

Mark Wahlberg's character is great in this movie. Staff sergeant Digby I think. Not as good a film as Good Fella's but very decent in its own right.

Scorsese's best film is Taxi Driver imo. Crazy script and probably De Niro's best ever role. The movie would be absolute junk without his performance. Apparently other film directors at the time thought Scorsese had lost his mind making a film like Taxi Driver. It now ranks among the 10 best movies in the history of American film.
