Oh wow! This league website just gets better and better.

It actually has live play-by-play updates of Boston-Phillis game that is currently in progress as well as the live Box Score updates. That's insane!

i think u just click the game u want on draw then it says challange opponent with 2 ither options i think

You check who is online and challenge them.

Got canned by 33 against Hawks too...it seems I always have pressure on me on the offensive end, yet have little or no pressure when on defense, despite playing hard on guys and crashing on the drive...frustrating.

Any tips to help me guys? Cause right now, I'm a non-factor and I have no idea why I can't seem to get things going, unless the lag really is that bad? Cause all buttons seem to be on a delay...

The thing i've noticed playin people is that they dont switch up there D...everyone just plays Man-to-Man 100%, try using some different zones...that can take people out of comfort and crowd the area of the floor they particularly like and double teams if a player is hot.

Also another thing when your down by like 12-15 points dont keep tryna jack up 3's to try cut the lead, i've done this when i've been down before and it only gets you further behind take the higher % shots. Post someone up and if they collapse on you dish it out for the 3 then and take it if its a good look. Drive to the hoop, uses the play calls to get screens, isolate yourself. These are all the things I use :) But like in my previous post keep changing things up on D it REALLY helps

Oh I know I didn;t change D much against you, but the Hawks I turned to Zones and crashed the inside, but they'd just lay it up with the D on them all the time.

And yeah, the 3...I have a bad habit of loving the 3 Ball anyway, but in the end with you, I knew I was gone so was tempted too much :lol: But also just wanted to try and get a feel for it a little cause you'll notice how few I hit...I just can't get the timing on ANY jump shots cause of the delay in buttons. Thad went 1-11 against the Hawks and 1-8 from mid range! Then when I get inside, I never have a flowing lay-up cause of the delay.

I'll try more with play calls too, but so far they haven't done much even when called...

Hopefully I can get better so you don't get bored playing me :lol:

:lol: Nah I'm happy to play you! I can take a drubbing, not worried about that! Better player = win :) And every now and then I looked good against you, which made me feel good ;) :lol:

Hey, I'll get better, I'm just not used to having plays and all this jazz to worry about and do!

That's one of the positives of having a league filled with people that we know, the games will still be completed.

If you joined a random public league and are in front by that sort of margin 80% of the time the person losing is a poor sport and quits midgame.

ok, so can i lay some money down on J_smoove vs vivo_87 in the finals! hopefully the rest of you guys suck as much as i do so i might be able to win one game, lol, sorry nick bout before too, had to go and pick my girlfriend up from the train station, there was only a minute left and i was down by 50 so didnt see much point in pausing it, lol!

haha no worries mate, i jus dribbled out till like 23 seconds in the shot clock and then took a shot so i ran the clock down quickly :razz:

Well im gonna play j_smoove in like 10 mins when he gets back from dinner, his the contact i invited...so one of us will be undefeated in roughly an hours time ;)

Man, the link broke like 2 mins into the 1st qtr and i was awarded the win because i was up at the time...so sh!t, they should make you restart the game again
