Hi all, I’ve just joined this site in the last few, and we’re amazed how many other passionate card collectors there are out there.
I’m a parra fan and only collect parra cards. I’m not sure if anyone’s interested in seeing my collection but i’ve enjoyed seeing other people’s so I thought i’d post some pics.
I’ve had my collection of common cards for some time and just adding to it each year. My “rules” for my collection is one of every parramatta player who has had a card, and at least one of every set made by the major rights holder whether it be scanlens, stimorol, Regina, dynamic, select or tla. I’ve attached photos of all my common cards.
I’ve avoided collecting what I call “oddities” - insert cards, stickers, cards issued by the club and nrl sponsors. It kind of goes against my control freak nature to have cards of different sizes and need different size sheet to put them in. But I got a copy of roger wills’ collectable bible for Xmas and i’ve Started chasing what I call oddities. I’m waiting for a couple of cards to arrive in the mail and i’ll post some pics of them when they arrive. My rules are that i’m Not chasing all sets, just odd cards of players who don’t have cards in the common sets and that roger wills deemed as official sets and were sold in Australia.
I’m still looking for a card of Andrew meads from the 2003 parramatta club issued set sponsored by asics so if anybody has a spare,
please send me a message
