172 cards of goodness arrived from comc!

There's probably enough for 3 or 4 threads to be honest, but I'll start with the one that is my current favorite - 2008-09 UD Black.

Instead of showing off what arrived today, I figure I'll show of each set and where it is presently as I have not displayed it in its fullest anywhere.

Base Set (Patches)

I love these, so many of the guys a grew up watching. This set has a very nostalgic feel to it for me.

UD Black Autographs

Just a really simple, clean design. Always nice that JR Smith is jersey numbered!

HOF Patch Autographs

Haven't really made a dent in this, and to be honest it's not at the top of my priority list. However it does looks amazing in hand with the foil and would be very difficult to spell the full thing out with such a small print run.

ABA Anniversary Autographs

Lots of guys in this small, 8 card set that don't really get the hobby love they deserve.

All Star Autographs

The gold versions were numbered to how many all star appearances they'd made at the time of release, which I think makes them pretty cool and highly sought after.

What?! No Manimal? I'm shocked! Great set to go for, although they are notrious for edge and corner chipping / whiting. What made you go for 08 09 instead of the earlier years which are just as nice imo.

Just wondeing what the cut outs in the quad patches stand for, cant work it out but im sure its obvious: A3TZ, 3WTZ?

haha, its actually a pretty big quality control issue. When UD created the cards, they diecut them back to front.

So the mirror image is what they should be - the conference that the players team comes from.
