Brett, as usual went out of his way tonight to home deliver some boxes for me.
I got yet another UNC hobby box for the seemingly never ending Jordan auto hunt.
and My first look at the new 2012 Goodwin Champions.
Some of you may know I have almost completed the 2011 master set of short prints #89 (need two cards out of 171) and have A huge range and at least one of every other insert type from the set, with most of these being 1/1's #/9 or #/10 or just very SP
have also gone nuts and done similar for the 2009 version.
My aim is to get the same for the 2012 and this is one way to get off to a VERY good start.....
I got two boxes from him. and decided to sit down with the wife and open one each!
Well the second pack was a doozy!! but more on that in min..
I got the usual inserts and a few b/ball, a magic johnson jersey and will post scans up of some of them later.
Now, a bit about the hit, As this sport in not entirely basketball, but multi sport,
the hit i got is NOT a basketball player..
It is however a rare Auto version. called the sport royalty auto
there are three groups that players are put into. all varying in rarity.
the easy group to get (group c) is 1:4900 packs
Group B is 1:7,900 packs
and Group A is 1:15,947 PACKS!
And yep, the one i got falls in there!

You only need to head to FEEBAY to see what the last two of these have sold for, and what someone is asking for one on there now to understand why i almost fell of my chair......
EDIT: and no i did not get my jordan auto from he UNC, but will update that thread when i get some time, s have busted two more since the last update and expect another box to arrive next week..
