Morabito ruled out for entire 2011 Season

Was just watching Ten News and they said that there was breaking news from the Fremantle Football Club that confirmed Anthony Morabito has been ruled out from playing next season as he is needing a full knee reconstruction..

Not great news for such a promising player..

Lars may not be the best option as David Rodan has just had the lars done a second time on the same knee due to fraying of the synthetic fibre used only 12 months after the original surgery

That LARS surgery is for players in the twilight of their careers. Thats why Kreuzer had the traditional re-construction. The LARS has alot of risks.

LARS is usually used by older players who need a quick turn around, most surgeon's don't recommend LARS to yourng players because it has only been around a few years and no-one knows the long term pros and cons yet, hence traditional surgery is used and recommended for younger players.
