i have to say that i heavily doubt that will be so, he is a great bloke- he is our teams batting coach at my rep club gosnells (he plays 1st grade 4 them) but he is getting in way too much trouble with the cricket boards and coaches because he is drinking too much. He is a great player but i also doubt test matches would suit him best, maybe he could be a big hitter who bats 4-6 in the ODI and opens in Twenty20 for Australia

tim- to think about it maybe not tests but instead the ODI team. He is a star!

hussey ( david ) in form and wat i seen of him in OD1 he is worth a crack hussey is good when he gets 30 odd and goes on he just finds it hard to get that start and is 2 defensive needs to fink more positively

not sure about david, if they have the confidence in hughes they will bring him in and clarke will go 2nd drop. watson could take clarkes batting possition at 3rd drop.

and? Others opinions can't be shared once one the same has been posted? There is no other option for the selectors if they choose to drop Huss. Otherwise we will be in more of a whole in 12months time then we are at the moment!

we need to look at youth. Players retiring in next 3 years or so inclued:

ponting
huss
lee
clark
Maybe katich and haddin (not sure how old they are)

Its going to be another period where a few stars retire and were in the ****.

Pretty sure that's the only option available, i don't think they have another batsman on tour at the moment.
