Mailday - 11 years in the making

This card has been a thorn in my side for 11 years now.

After busting my first one of these from a packet in 2001 (Lavea from memory) I have finally got it. I have had 2 deals fall over and one go "missing" in the mail.

If anyone has any ideas why its so hard to come across i would love to know.

Hard to say what over is with this given it so hard to come by.

Its just one of those things i guess. Even sigs #/100, Some you see every month and others you dont see for years.

Great find Owen, must be an nice feeling to finish the set.

Reminds me of the Steve Waugh cricket auto from select 97/98, even though there are 100 that card is as rare as rare, and while all the others in that set pop up from time to time the Waugh never surfaces. No explanation as to why, but there must be a reason.

Nice one!. I pulled mine from one of three loose packets in 2001.. And they were on special too..

I actually had a lot of 'unknown' luck with the 2001 series. Got a few folders and stuff back then for $20...
