I know Kobe Was Mr Clutch in the last 3 mins this game
I am harsh on him, but I hate ball hogs ! Deep down I know he is a champion player but i hate to think how much better he would have been if he didnt try and be Jordan every time he steps onto the court.
Yeah it was back and forth for a while but a couple of big time threes from the Dirk, Terry and Peja and it really took the momentum back for the Mavs. Lakers up by 7, you blink, and all of a sudden the lead is gone. Sad to see them bow out without much of a fight really.
Dirk though. Amazing player, gotta give him props for being the MVP for his team especially in the 4th. His goofy foot drives and fadeaway is crazy, and I've seen him actually work on those shots consistently in practice, making the off balance, wrong footed shot.

Kobe sure had some bad shot selections in this playoffs, and bad passes and turnovers. The fadeaway three with Odom wide open and him waving his arms? come on now...
Oh it's definitely more rings than most people will ever come close to. But they had a chance to do something legendary with another title. Even if the Lakers had taken the Mavs, the Conference Finals would have been a difficult matchup no matter who they faced, and then there's still the Finals. The fat lady has sung for the Lakers this year.
I personally am putting alot of this on Fish and Pau. I really think Fish should step away at seasons end and not even think about going again, hes to slow and not much of a threat offensively. Pau Should be doing what Bynum did and demand the ball and actually make Dirk play some D which should slow him a little on the offensive end. Also Lakers are again getting killed from down town. Why is it so hard to defend the pick and roll when u know whats coming? How many times has Dirk been left outside 3 open??? Not good enough and as much as i hate to say it i really hope we do get swept and have a good look at the team and a clean up at seasons end.
Either way its hard to see anyone stopped Miami or the Bulls. Really hope Bulls take it.

Who says he tries to be Jordan??He has never come out and said that...Thats just your perception of the situation, well in the last few years he has been Clutch so to speak just not this year he has lost a step and cant rise up as much as he used too....Pretty sure he has been THE Best Player in the last 10 Years pal look it up...Not sure how much better he can be???5rings, Scoring Champ X2, MVP, Allstar MVP x3, Finals MVP x2......Anyways enuf of that
Poor execution in all 4TH QTRS have cost LA the Wins, despite how poorly Pau has been playing, yes maybe 3 Straight Finals apperance's is finally catching up with them...Who knows???I know how much the Haters flood this thread when they lose good on then i reckon the League as pretty much been dominated by LA and Boston the last 3YRS bout times caught up!!!
