Introducing myself.

Hi everyone. Just saying hi before hopefully get involved in your community. Much like other people on here, I fell away from the hobby of collecting basketball cards in the late 90's, but after digging up my stuff from my parents house, the bug has bit me again.
I really enjoyed going through my Reggie Miller and Jason Kidd collections. Hopefully I'll be able to collect a few more recent (early 2000's) cards of those guys.
I'm from New Zealand but there seems to be very little interest over here for trading cards, but it looks like you guys in Aussie have plenty of people involved.
I've just splashed out on a 2014-15 Panini box of cards to get me back into it, hopefully they arrive next week.

Well ..... maybe if I find a goodie in there! Going through this website I see heaps of talk and photos of jersey and autograph cards, but I've got none myself. So hopefully I get one in this box. Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome to OCT, i myself are a Kiwi but living in Melbourne. What Panini box are you going to grab? would like to see the cards even if there's no "hits" someone may be searching for set chases or even for their personal collections. If you need any assistance about anything post it up the boys knowledge base around here is unbelievable.

Thanks Kael. OK I'll try and put some pics up of what I get. I currently own zero autograph or jersey cards (since they were very rare back when I was collecting) so I'll be pretty stoked to get my first one. Lets hope its closer to Dirk Nowitzki than Rasual Butler.
Its a box of 2013-14 Panini NBA Hoops. Was fairly cheap so I'll start off there.
Yip I'm blown away by how much knowledge you guys have, so prepare yourself for some amateur questions if I have any.

Being a Kiwi, Steven Adams cards hold an obvious appeal, but we'll see! No show today so fingers crossed it shows up tomorrow.
