How are people allowed to do this? Fake/copywrite cards.

I gather they are 100% custom, printed at home?
Selling them with the company names and set trademarks could cause many problems for that person.

There is already a case by Panini against one of these sellers for creating Zion cards with the Rated Rookie logo on them.

These are home made cards and are breaking NBA licencing rules if they are being sold for commercial gain.

If you want to make one yourself for your PC there isnt much anyone can do, but as soon as you start selling them its a big no no!

Yeah I'm all for a bit of artistic impression and IIrc back in the day Matt you floated around or even made some spectacular looking cards which looked great but yeah, your own design and not for commercial gain.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I stumbled on these two on ebay. Like the seller had legitimately ripped off pannini and upper deck and I dare say it's a ploy to confuse buyers.

If you didn't really pay attention or were new I could easily see someone get taken for a ride.
