Oh and they are not going to pick up the option on Banks either. They might as well cut him as who would trade for him now if they can just wait and pick him up as a free agent??

His option for next year is around the 2.5 Mil range.

I spend a good deal of time at Celticsblog.com too, Jeff is the OG of celtics blogging.

I can see where people link from to my site, I saw this was one of em and I figured I'd drop a note. I hit a lot of message boards and inevitably there are always more than a few Australian Celtics fans, which is nice to see...

What kind of coverage do you get over there?

he will have to start this year, doc better not make him an impact bench player like last season.

getbuckets - I dunno about other states, but in SA, we get 1 game a week (maybe a 2nd every fortnight) on our Pay TV. THere is no NBA games or programs on Free-to-Air, but we do occasionally get a bit of info on Sports Tonight (a nightly 30min Sport Show).

And the teams we get are generally playoff type teams and hardly get to see teams like Celts, Hawks, Magic last year, because they weren't top teams.
