Help 2 TV's 1 Antenna!

Hi Guys,

Hoping some of you might have a solution to this.

We recently bought a new TV for the lounge and wanted to set the other up in the spare room so when my mrs friends stay they can stay in there and not annoy me

Problem is the only antenna port in the whole house is in the lounge.

Is there a good way of still getting reasonable picture with out putting in another port (spoke with the landlord and thats not an option)

We tried a friends rabbit earsy type antenna with the set top box with out much success

Once you get a suitable one, get a decent length of cable and run from port in the wall to spare room.

Is messy though so wouldn't want to be a permanent fixture

Correct, about $10...

You can get better ones (hard-wired junctions/splitters, etc), but plug this into your socket in the wall, and plug two TVs into each plug.

Of course, if you have TVs at either end of the house, you're best putting a splitter box near the antenna, and plugging current TV into that (unchanged), and running length of coax to the other TV room.

OR... if you're not recording anything, and just want a signal, most TVs these days have an in-built tuner, so you just need an el-cheapo set of "rabbit ears" to plug into it. Unless you're in an absolute abomination of a reception area...

If you tried rabbit ears and wasnt too good, you could try the powered indoor antenna's, not sure what they're worth but.

Else, hook up the DVD player and make em watch movies! Don't women just talk anyways?
