Game 3 = Boring??

oh god spare us any future spurs matchups in the finals.. i like the spurs sun matchup, and then i like seeing the mavs knock out the spurs.. no more spurs finals.. EVER.. PLEASE!!! I'm sure Durant/Oden will have something to say about that..

besides, its not good for the game.. the game has really sucked every time the spurs take the finals stage since 99.. i enjoyed the 99 series games 3,4+5, but the others have really sucked.. 2003-2004 maybe is an exception.. only cos of dave rob

i know a few people boycotting playoffs/finals when the spurs show up.. plus if i recall , the spurs failed to not sellout a game or so in this years playoffs.. do you blame them?

viewers ratings have also dropped.. the nba finals needs a suns/mavs/kobe team vs a ben wallace, or lebron james or something like that..

I honestly think that the Spurs are fun to watch... They are a very organised basketball team and that they support each other. There's nothing wrong with that! :v:

They run the fast break when they get the chance very well and they spread the floor to perfection that you'll see them knocking down 3 pointers regularly which makes me flinch coz most of the time I want the other team to beat them. Saying that, I don't dislike them, I admire them... They are just awesome!

Christ!!!.. Tony Parker is good to watch, but he's no lebron james and definatley not worth watching the spurs for.. ah well, we all have different tastes, and i guess todays standards are at an all time low where no one remembers what the game is really like and how great it can be to watch

I say that I enjoy watching the Spurs because I used to coach basketball for 7 years and thats the way I want my team to run.

But if I never coach a game of basketball, I would probably agree that the Spurs are boring to watch. :v:

i coached under 10 girls up until under 19's and coached under 12 boys up until under 18's, both a-b grade sides, i too know what its like to coach blah blah blah.. but there's a difference to australian a grade bball and the nba..

1) they aren't televised
2) you dont coach nbl let alone nba
3) im sure your teams are prettier to watch than the spurs
4) yes spurs do things right obviously to win games, but it's meant to be entertainment right?

if anyone had something to answer for, it was the cavs effort..
i used to think watching the spurs were boring, but upon having a better understanding of the game you begin to realize how bloody amazing they are as a team...

their defence is worth watching alone, and seeing parker and ginobili put up amazing shots even makes it better..

that said, if the suns didn't lose amare for game 6 i believe the finals would have had an entirely different makeup (and champion)..

cavs performance? yes it was terrible, but what it only took you this series to get a better understanding of the game? get real..

I never coach under 18's... So that's probably our difference in opinion is coming from. :v:
