I know in 2003 jersey cards were Lockyer, Price and Ricketson all good high quality players. Would much rather a significant player rather than a jersey from a significant (finals) game.I wonder why the jersey cards had to be finals jersey cards, all i am hearing is its tough to get player to part with their finals jerseys, while finals is nice, wouldn't it be better to get a better player for such a rare card even if the match is less significant like selects?
I had the theory it was because they usually don't do multiple inserts of the same player in Elite and they're saving the better players for the higher end stuff. And Walker & Klemmer YG in 2014.
Also the quads are looking more uninspiring. Hunt/Milford backs over Copely/Reed. These cards are numbered to 65 so why wouldn't you be placing your premier players on them.
Does anyone know if there is a list of which Newsagencies will be getting stock?
Cheers
What happened last year? The NRL is taking a much more careful approach to player welfare after what occurred last year
And bring back the league sensations where the players are more establishedYeah i have heard that Michael.
May as well just scrap the young guns if it is going to continue like this though.
What happened last year?
A player got so over-excited at having a signature card that he went out and murdered ten men with his bare hands.
We simply can't let that happen again.
I see, thanksI think they mean after the Tigers player committed suicide, and a couple of Cowboys youngsters did the same.
Hargreaves just posted this
