Over people trying to extort you for a 1/1 or rare card because you're a player collector. People think that you have to pay 100% more than the average collector because you want that card for your pc. Happy to let them keep it, but it's getting tired. The same people ask you to drop a card by 40% of it's sv to help them out. I am always happy to help out others, but some people are just ruining it for everybody. Also over the endless Panini parallels that are released taking all the enjoyment out of it! If I don't find a buyer for the lot, I will be holding onto it. Will just have to start picking up singles I like from now on instead of chasing every card.

I hear you on that Norm, I agree and feel the exact same way and I am doing the exact same thing as you... Not planning on selling but really only picking up what I really like, aswell as the odd ones that do pop up on ozcardtrader as I enjoy the community, But if this year holds the same endless assault from Panini on the Parallels I think I will go nuts!
 
I hear you Norm. Thats why I refuse to overpay by too much on an Anthony Morrow 1/1.... I set th eprice on him on ebay, so if you trying to sell to me on a forum, expect me to know what he is worth. It is a sad day though when someone tries to extort a price from you but then wants massive bargain... :(
 
Good luck with the sale mate I feel ya on all the people trying to extort you for more $$ because they know you collect a player.
Still a heap of good guys collecting but most want crazy prices then want to buy a card off you for $1.

Plus panini releasing 1,095 cards of each player per year is becoming a joke!
 
Sometimes I wish there was a name and shame thread, in which we could post about a buyer/seller with examples of how much they wanted you to pay for their card and then what ridiculous price they wanted to pay for one of yours in a later deal... Itll never happen for obvious reasons.

I always remember those that give good deals. But I always sell cheap anyway. Hell, I sold a Kobe auto for $79+postage on here on the weekend:)
