Bulls v Heat 2011 Playoffs Eastern Final Thread **SPOILERS INSIDE**

Im pretty stoked with todays result, huge win for the heat and my top 2 fav player lebron! i can honestly see why the bulls fans would be a little pissed, some of the calls were suspect, but that just happens sometimes especially at home!
having said that defence by both teams were tight and the difference was well the big 3 for miami and will be for the rest of the series! rose is simply spectacular but is looking a little defeated and tired, boozer played well, but is too inconsistent, deng really needs to pick it up, but when its all said and done they are a scoring shooting guard away from buying unstoppable i think...chicago has had a pretty easy run through the playoffs also, indiana and atlanta are pretty ordinary teams and good luck for the bulls drawing them by having the best record, but i reckon they havent been that impressive in the playoffs so far! not writing them off, but i reckon miami are in there head and really have the pyschological advantage now!

Well the Dallas-OKC series has gone well over 100 points a few times I think (not following that one very closely).

But you're right about the Miami-Chicago series. If I wasn't a Heat fan I probably wouldn't watch. At times the game gets very ugly.

RE Game 3: I dont know what you people are talking about some "calls" / "suspect calls", or bad calls! :lol:
A suspect call is any team Vs Lakers in LA, because all refs have to lick Lakers arse and must make sure Lakers win !!!!!!!
Clearly game 3 was a close defensive game, few offensive fouls by the Bulls that were correct, Miami's defence stepped up in game 3 especially towards the end of the game, Bosh exploded & won game 3 for Miami, LeBron James just made sure the game was sealed! Bulls normally shoot more 3-pointers, but were only 5 of 12. Big mistake they didn't shoot more - Korver (1 of 1), Bogans 4pts, also bad game by NOAH - 1pt !!
Bulls thought game 3 is all about Wade & Lebron and have mainly concentrated their defence on these two players, but forgot about how dangerous Bosh can be! Bulls were unlucky towards the end, but huge credit to Miami's defence! This game was Bosh -Vs- Boozer!
Miami had the tougher run to the Eastern finals then the Bulls, & it seems they might make it to the finals. But it's NOT OVER!. If it wasn't for LeBron, Miami would have been knocked out long time ago!
Rose is one of my fav player, & I would love to see him in the finals, but LeBRON will prove to the world that he is a major factor in helping Miami reach the finals! :whistle:

So the call where I think it was Noah barely had his arm on Bosh & got called for a loose ball foul was really a foul? Really?

Gezz Ian, you start off so well in not giving anything to the Heat by using the "IF" word, but then you do the complete opposite to the other series & make out like Dallas have already made it.

Yeah sorry Brett, probably should have followed the Heat "IF" up with a "IF" for the Mavs, im sorry dude I just can't see them getting past Dallas is this series...But you never know.....

I don't recall that foul so I can't comment. But in a game there are typically a few questionable calls on either side. Not enough in this game to significantly change the outcome of the game though, as some would suggest. Like I said, the Heat have Wade and LeBron, who get to the foul line often. The Bulls only have Rose. The free throw discrepancy was 8. Nothing alarming there.
 
I am not a fan of either side but i have 5 thoughts so far from this series.

1. There is not much between the Bulls defense and the Heats defense - really have been surprised about how even it is.

2. The difference between Miami's offense and the Bulls offense is staggering. We all know what the Heat have but with Rose being kept quite they look terrible. They really seem to rely on him being able to pass the ball but the Heat have been great.

3. Who would have thought Bosh would be the leading MVP candidate for this series.

4. Who would have thought Haslem would have even played this series let alone be the key to game 2.

5. For all those complaining about the officiating in game 3 - just go back and look at some of the calls that the Bulls got in game 2. No one complains when a team wins but these things even themselves out.
 
Tornado weather Is around here right now. Apparently a HUGE storm heading this way. Might sweep me away while I'm watching this game that's coming up ! ... My last words will be ... Beat the Heat !!!
 
really spotty performance so far by the Bulls in the first five minutes. i really hope they pick up the pace.
 
Tornado weather passed by. Pretty scary for about 30 minutes though. I know that I NEEDED to see the weather on the local news ... BUT, the game was on. lol ... AND ... DERRICK ROSE IS A BAD MAN !!! JAW DROPPING PLAYS. He's the ONE guy that I can think of that Is better In real life than on a video game. ... BEAT THE HEAT !!!
 
If Miller starts knocking down shots its going to be a tough 4th for the bulls. Looks like he's feeling it atm.
