Bulls v Hawks 2011 Playoffs Second Round Thread **SPOILERS INSIDE**

Great game to watch, loving the underdogs winning. I must say, Teague stepped up and played really well on Rose! Good to see :)

I really see the Hawks taking the series, in the Playoffs you see ALL teams step up there game even Indiana but then only team that seem to be stuck in the same gear are the Bulls.
They beat Indiana but that's cause Indiana can't close games first 3 games could have been Antibes in that series, and the Bulls look to be playing the same against the Hawks, so I really think Hawks got it in 6 or 7.
Rose is shooting terrible in the playoffs.
I guess the curse of that MVP has took place.

Looking at the way the Bulls match up with the Hawks, other then Joe Johnson, who IMO is streaky at best over the last few months, and also looking at the season results I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls sweep Atlanta in 4! Atlanta may, MAY, steal one at home but won't be much!

Bulls to sweep!

Come on guys hasn't the first round taught you all that regular season and season series means nothing.

Grizzlies beat the Spurs who won like 20 games more than them. Hornets stole games from the Lakers, Hawks beat the Magic surprisingly as well.

Hawks are the hottest team in the East right now, and it looks like they have all stepped up another gear from the regular season. Crawford only averaged like 14 PPG in the season and has averaged nearly 21 PPG in the postseason (including today's performance).

The Hawks if hot, are a great team. Any team with Horford, J-Smoove, Joe, Crawford and Hinrich (although he's injured) if they play well is going to be tough to deal with.

Hawks win today was solid. JJ was hot, but even so, it was a good win. They are playing with a lot of confidence so don't write them off.

Probably the best observation I have heard yet regarding the Bulls. Plain and simple they have not stepped up to answer the call. Apart from that last game against the Pacers, every other game was sub-par. Yes they were wins, but only because they were playing the 8th seed who have/had limited talent and couldn't close out games.

The first 3 wins the Bulls racked off against the Pacers came down to one possession, and the Pacers inability to close. They let the Pacers hang around when they should have destroyed them. Had that been the Celtics, Heat, Magic or even Hawks I don't think they would have won all 3.

Bulls need to wake up.

LOL

Well I only just got home and was able to write this. But Ian's comment about the Bulls sweeping the Hawks was posted up well before Game 1. Even if I had wrote it then my opinion would have been the same.

I'm not saying I predicted the Hawks to win Game 1, or I expect them to win or whatever - but I rarely ever predict a sweep in the playoffs. How can you? It's the playoffs! Especially if it's the second round, a team has clearly beaten another team 4 times to get to that point, how likely is it that they will get swept?!?

Very likely if your the Knicks :(

how likely is it that they will get swept?!?

last years atlanta hawks after beating the bucks and swept by the magic

honestly think the bulls may struggle with this match up unless they shut down crawford or johnson

can't let a team to shoot over 50% and expect to win

Crawford is HOT and has been the difference in every game the Hawks have played this post-season. Scored 22 or more points in 5 of the 7 games he has played, 19 in the other and double-digits in one. Supremely confident!!

Broom is put away...

Man, the Bulls need to lift their game big time! Rose's shooting is a big worry, nearly as much as his ankle!!!!

Can the Hawks stay hot? Can the Bulls find the killer streak they are lacking at the moment!?

Im not worried, if it gets to 0 - 3 then I'll start worrying. All but one Semi Finl Game 1 was an upset of sorts, so to me it's not saying much. They didn't get blown out, andlike it has been stated JJ was Hot and it was still kept rspectable with Rose nothitting shots and hurting his ankle!

OKC lost, Lakers Lost and the Bulls lost, Im sure everyone would have thought the opposite of all those games on paper. Should still be a great series and if Atlanta continue to play like this and the Bulls can find some form it should be a long series!!

yepI am not worried atm. They need to lift and change their game. Rose hurt his ankle against indiana and now atlanta.

hopefully he doesn't wear it out. Boozer needs to step up and so does their defense. Tat was not a side rated no1 in defense tonight

This will be a true test for the bulls, forget about the season standings, forget about the first round. Now is the time to step up. I hope Rose's ankle injury is not severe and hope it will not be an issue, fans deserve a good series.
