I too saw the same auction , am not believing that prices suddenly increased . Seems fishy and think shill bidding is involved.

No dont get me wrong, im not saying anything like that, i dont have any reason to believe thats the case, not with the items i bidded on as they were all fair prices, the inserts went for alot but that's more out of surprise than suspicion for me. like i said these cards are becoming alot harder to find , demand is apparently there so i can understand the prices as it may be the only chance to get some of these cards.
 
Got a Awesome mailday to show! only saw this card come up twice on the bay in all the time ive been collecting. Had to pay a fair whack but the chnace of getting this card was to good to turn down.

yeah they can be very difficult to get hold of. the one out of /50 i had to pay a fair amount for that but i got the one numbered to 18 ( jersey Number ) for cheaper, think its bit of luck and good timing. if i see anything like that ill drop you a message.
 
Nice pick up Scott. I saw some recent ended auctions and these United autos and jersey cards are really pulling some high prices.
Luckily you nabbed some big pieces early!!
How many are you up to now?
Enjoying your maildays mate. I get to now enjoy seeing them without having to buy them!!
