Will it come a time where for big "transaction" we will need to use a 3rd party, will some savvy businessman start up a company which will be the middle man, you send card to them, other party send's money, card is then shipped out, anyone starts this up i want royalties from it Click here to enlarge
I have thought along those lines for many years may i say!
I find it amazing that so many members here will vouch for the integrity of a conman yet very few have offered to assist the person that has actually been defrauded!
Is it because the defrauded member is from Germany and we look after our own?
OCT is the loser here also as it is evident that you should trust nobody when enacting a deal!

Don't think it's because we look after our own. If you look at Steve he has over 600 feedback, ie. 600 awesome deals and I think many on the forum have also benefited from his generosity. I think we're just going by what we know and who we know better.

The guy/owner/Cherry contacted me and want to sell me the card. I still haven´t the price but i told him that Steve Stabilo is responsible to send me this Jordan jersey/auto or send me back my cards + money.
Of course it´s possible that these two guys try to cheat me

What pointers did you give Bolli in your PM to him about how to go about proceeding?
And has Grayson posted again with more info or did I miss it? So many posts. Also, the rightful owner of what exactly?
Bolli did you put any info in the description boxes when sending payments about what the payments were for?
How does a paypal claim work in this instance?

1. Forum member says they had a deal - which wasnt recorded but may be stated in emails and/or PM's
2. Another forum member says they have possession of main said card of value
3. Implicated member yet to respond
4. Judge convicts implicated member of fraud on the basis of the legal precedent that a forum member has a card in their possession which is said to be involved in fraudulent dealings but was said to be held pending payment of another card trading debt.
Tough sell right there! I think some facts are missing. And the crucial piece - beyond a reasonable doubt.
Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.
I ask 1 simple question!
Have any of you that can verify the integrity of the so called fraudster actually had contact with him not for OCT purposes but for the legal scenario that will be played out and are you willing to state the actual fact that you have!
Now is the time to fess up!

I don't know where you are trying to go with this Carter. This is a card forum where people meet (and don't actually meet) to buy, sell, trade and talk about cards and more. It's not a dating site. People in the thread have already stated to meeting Steve in person but probably not in a non card related matter.

I don´t know why you post here my pm to you? What helps that? I said nothing public beause it´s a different situation but many people told me that I shouldn´t talk with "G" about a deal because MAYBE something is strange. OF COURSE I´ll not pay $$$$ to "G" (I don´t know him) for a card that should be in my PC for more than 2 month!!! If this card is mine or "G" isn´t matter. Important is that Steve told me that he will ship this card with Express Service to me. He can´t? OK, then send me back the money + my cards!!!!!

i do not think many people think that what you say is not the truth as you have provided evidence of communication. It is more of the action is not in Steve's character. So people are more worried about his well being and wanting Steve to tell the site what is up. How did the situation get to this point.
