I don't think Steve intended for things to go the way they did Matt and that's why he didn't just disappear. I think Steve genuinely ****ed up big time and probably didn't anticipate the ensuing consequences of his actions. I imagine if his actions were malicious he would have done what you have described, the fact he hasn't suggests he made a genuine mistake, all be it a big one.


edit: I don't support Steve's actions at all by the way.

- this bolli fella has been forced to air out dirty laundry and post private messages to try to prove his case

tbh i cant believe anyone doubted Mo in the first place....he laid it all out there for everyone to see...he had nothing to hide.....I can't believe how much trust people on here put in other people they have never met before.....how do you all know im not a 14yr old girl?? :P
 
I'd doubt you if you posted up the same info. It wasn't all laid out, there was bits and pieces. This has already been covered, why people back up members they have dealt with 30 times as opposed to a new member, it's not hard to figure out why.

Yeah I know he is, I am "friends" with him but have not had a reply since July. I was meaning why not just delete that account, not respond to emails AS WELL as not come on OCT etc etc, just totally disappear. why put the effort in to keep up the fascade? I dunno.
 
at the end of the day there is alot of money involved in this hobby. I don't trust my own family when it comes to money. I think some people need to take more consideration when doing hi end deals with someone they have never met is what im trying to say. I havent had a bad deal on here, but i didnt grow up with any of you.....none of you play on my footy or basketball teams.....this community works because trust is a big part of it, but some people are too trusting
 
Like i Said before he has Money , how can he not have money is he on the street .

Being in Business for so long people will come up with anything and cry like babies to get away with basically stealing, He has a Large Collection of valuable cards as i said before if he sold them he could pay all his debts and move forward but guess what he doesn't want to do that and in his mind why should he it is easier to hide and talk crap .


I have lost all respect for Steve he is acting like a punk he hasn't even had the respect to come on here and explain his actions and you know why because the crap that would spew from his hole is all rubbish and lies .

Anyway just shows you can't trust anyone and it's a shame that people can have no conscience and greed can get in the way .
 
I'm just angry that such a trusted member has done this AND DONE NOTHING about it!

It's one thing to lie, get caught out and admit to the mistake but to continue to dodge his responsibility and do nothing about rectifying the situation is f'n BS! One day I hope someone comes knocking on your door Steve......
 
What is more upsetting is Aussies had a good rep in this hobby to be honorable in deals and because of a few scumbags we all are coping it on international transactions.

Steve live is Melbourne doesn't he ? maybe someone needs to take some initiative and give Graham the address of where he lives so he can pass it on to Bolli Maybe then the Police can go around and ruffle Steve feathers a bit .
 
As its been said before i hope this all works out for bolli, at least this has provided a wake up call to everyone that if you deal in a high end deal to be very careful reguardless how "Respected/honest" the person is. Truth be told i sent cards a few times before Steve paid (only a few hundred in that case) and i wont be doing that again.
 
Man, there are so many up and downs in the last month. Everytime when I get mail from him then of course my hope is rising. But the next weeks without a answer on some of my mails destroy this hopes! What here happen or better to say what Steve did/do with me is like a earthshake me. I'm angry and I lost a big part of my passion for this Hobby :'(

Of course most of all I'm angry on myself because I was so a idiot to trust sooo much.

Normally I have to cancel all my deals (I have to pay for a card) and take this money for a ticket to Australia. But I don't like it to not do what I promised!

I'll see if something will happen next days/weeks/months.
 
Bolli don't be hard on yourself.
You are not alone in trusting Steve. A lot of people do trust him. It may just differ on to what extent you trust him.

I always believe that things happen for a reason. Maybe a reminder that some trading rules are set to protect us. Or maybe remind us that bad things can happen to good people causing them to do bad things.

There is no point for me on looking at where the deal went wrong or whom to blame or what should have been done. I think with all the pages in this thread, it was pointed out in all every directions.

Like most of us fellow collectors in this hobby, there is one thing we want. That you get what you are owed.
 
I read this mammoth thread cover to cover. I am a n00b to forums but this story (allegedly of the non-fiction variety), made feel sick to the stomach.

All I can say to you Bolli is that if you come to Australia for the sole purpose of recouping your losses or getting the card you would more than likely be flogging a dead horse.
Use the money it would have cost for the flight to go somewhere you want to go rather than throwing more cash at a seemingly hopeless situation.

But by no means give up!

I hope the final outcome is the right and just one.
 
For me the disappointing thing is that no effort has been made whatsoever. Bolli is a reasonable man. His reaction has been very diplomatic and calm. Its been months. Even in hardship Steve should have agreed to a payment plan of $100 paypal per week until Bolli was paid off. By now he'd have $1000 and atleast know things were moving along.

I don't know Steve personally but its obvious he wasn't planning one big con his whole life. This was a crime of circumstances.

Cherry has been very respectable in this. Steve was a customer and deserves his privacy. May even be a crime to disclose personal matters. If I owed Cherry(or anyone) I wouldnt want people talking behind my back.
 
Whats this card worth? $3.5k-$4k?....surely steve doesnt owe Cherry that much?...That'd be like 4 cases of stock....silly Cherry if he does.

Cherry sell card, keep what he's owed, give rest to Bolli, so at least he gets something back?

*disclaimer* I stopped tracking thread a while back....so if anything I've just said has been covered or is totally misinformed....my bad ;)
 
I would like to know if Cherry "sold" the card back to Steve. I don´t get a answer from Cherry, too :(

Can somebody call Cherry to ask him, please?
