well guys the time has come, the second biggest game of the season is here. This year i think the Pies will take home the honours. I just think that our midfield will be a little to classy, as Hird wont be as brilliant as in previou games, and our forward line looks to have some nice matchups in our favour.

My prediction Pies by 34 and Alan Didak to win the Medal. What do you guys think will happen?

Oh and IM GOING TO THE GAME!!! Cant wait..
 
hmm its a case of who do you want to lose more? i hope the pies win for the simple reason that i tipped them :) and i think the Anzac medal will be won by...Josh Fraser *pulls a name out of mid air* lol

I NEED Collingwood to win.

yep go pies, i am going to the match also. If we don't beat them today with lloyd out we will never beat them.
 
LMAO .. josh fraser.. that guy and the clokes are guys i love you guys playing.. biggest unco's of footy out there.. bombers by 23 points... jimmy to rip the pies another one and take home the medal.. player to watch will be monfries... GO BOMBERS!
 
oh my god.. cant beleive i didnt see that post about didak winning the medal and pies by 34.. you beat hawthorn and a struggling roos side yet your thinking every other team will be a walkover? good god.. only reason you beat hawthorn was because rocca pulled 8 goals out of his ass on some poor young kid..
 
Time will tell choc but the pies will win this one comfortably....i will say a 4 goal win with Buckley to win the medal. I hate Buckley but they gave him the norm smith in a losing GF, so why not this one!!

So who are you going for?? Or are you covering all bases??

There is no bandwagon....i hate both teams but Bombers without Lloyd and the pies playing the way they are at present they will win.....
 
Im an essendon fan, so im being bias.. but your under estimating the bombers.. they have 2 guys that have good records on anzac day, they still have scott lucas, and a guy called monfries that will sneak under everyones radar... the pies have beaten hawthorn and a roos side thats struggling yet everyones on their wagon.. essendon have a good record on the pies, and also have played without lloyd alot the last few years.. they wont struggle

Ah i see....i didnt know ;)

It should be a good game no matter which way it goes!!! 95000 and a new stadium will make for great atmosphere
 
hrmmm gunna be a pies win but i think only by a couple of goals and hird will lift for the bombers with lloyd out so wouldnt be surprised to see him get the medal in a losing team
 
oh and of course "no lloyd" is the excuse.. not only is he our spearhead leading goal kicker of all time at essendon, but he's our captain.. anyways.. lets see how it pans out...
