Whats happening with the signatures again? I missed the whole thing. And my sigs gone as well?

Was it TOO saucy?

I missed it too, but from what I've read i think they are limiting the size and content to relate to the hobby.

Yeah it was the 'saucy' stuff mate. So people can look and read the site without having to worry about work bosses and such seeing revealing pictures.

Timmy its come to the attention of us Admin that if some want to view the site at work then the site should be card related and some pics of scantly clad girls don't go down well with some employers.

As far as I know G asked for stuff like that not to be used in sigs etc and its not a huge ask at the end of the day. Sometimes the line has to be moved for the good of members and seeing it effects more wanting to use the site than those with sigs like that then its an easy decision to make.

disappoint me a lot as at the end of the day decisions need to be made and Admin have been around here for many years now and proven such comments not to be true but I guess some members don't learn.

At the end of the day its a card forum and although some avatars may be card related to their pc it still doesn't mean it needs to be in their sig for every post for every thread.

I'm hoping Mike understands that and returns coz a sig really isn't that big a deal but viewing the site at a work pc to some is.

Totally agree with both situations. I think pics of that type have been let go and gradually gotten to a more extreme level when it just gets to the point of not being necessary. There are younger kids and females looking at the site and also members of that description. Would you guys like having to view scantily clad men in peoples sigs? lol. Better off leaving it alone. And you can't go having 2 sets of rules at the same time.

If anything I'd suggest it be broadened to avatars as well. Yes mine isn't bball related, but it's a non offensive pic, even some of the cleavage revealing avatars floating on here, while all nice n well, just could land someone in the s#it big time at work.

Agreed, couldn't have said it better myself.

I myself have been surfing this site and had the boss walk past and see some of the sig's that were on here and I had to do a bit of explaining.

Well, Mike didn't leave because of admins..

he said about one bad apple and i don't want to start a controversy.. i am just here for fun, but i got accused of sitting on the fence or having opinions or even having some LOL..

you can clearly in his blog...

he said admins had to make it fair and square if they want to keep the peace around...

so basically he was one of the members that got stripped for the rights of signature who he collects and was allowed the same person for over 7 months.. perhaps he doesn't get PM regarding this.. or didn't see admin announcements... (to be honest, i never check admin announcements/site admins and other stuff forums when i first joined for like 6 months too)

So, i don't think he doesn't fight over this.. he was just disappointed for being treated in same category of :v: Saucy Pics :v:... I am sure he will come back.. he's such a nice guy... everyone needs a break now and then...

you are right......I dont think Mike was upset at the Admins, more around the fact that his Carrie signature was deemed acceptable until another member posted a similar photo in their signature and then all of them got canned.

I think he is more annoyed at the other member rather than the admins.

I also think he feels that his Carrie signature was different in the fact that he wasn't using some random photo of a half naked hot girl in his signature, but someone he has collected cards of for some time.

I'm sure Mikle will be back, and when he does he will have plenty of mail to share.
