Hey guys, AFL collectors in particular, was going through my collection and found this, was wondering if it was worht anything, I'm assuming it can't be redeemed any more although it would have been cool to have! It is from 1995 Select.

Try writing(emailing) or calling Select Jase. Be really nice, tell them you have bought heaps of their product, cross your fingers and you never know. At least you have some hope with a Select redemp as they are still in business - I have a fair few old futera and dynamic auto redemptions. eg 5 mal meningas :(

Like Justdabest said, you never know, it may be worth contacting them to see if they still have them. Select is a small company, and would be a reasonable chance of keeping their old redemption cards lying around, seeing they don't make that much product each year (compared to the big US card companies).

I was under the impression that for every redemption card there was an auto card waiting. Was there a date it had to be in by?

Also, the Watson fetches more than the Brereton. I had two Dermie and both sold on ebay for $85-95 whilst the Watsons both went over $100

Brereton being in a Swans guernsey was a turn off for most Hawk supporters

Coolo guys will give that a go. the card does says there are 500 of each player signed and ready to be shipped!

Hey guys thanks for your help, they said to send it in registered mail and they will redeem it for me! :D

That's very good news....now let's go and buy all the old cheap Select boxes we can and look for the redemptions!!!

Just a small piece of trivia -

3 of the 4 players featured on Jason's redemption card have something in common - what is it??

im gunna take a stab in the dark and say that 3 of them have won the brownlow with the exception being possibly tony shaw... However im a basketball fan not a footy fan lol

Nah Brereton never won a Brownlow...

Brereton - played for three clubs, Hawthorn, Sydney and COllingwood
Shaw - Collingwood
Hawkins - doggies and Fitzroy
Watson - Bombers...

Don't think it's their jersey numbers either... must be something to do with where they are from... or years they retired/changed teams *shrug* otherwise i am clueless.
