2015 Traders review

I'm not a fan of the series. None of the traders since their release.

I don't like landscape layout cards, at all. So the retirements & the duos were a miss for me. The duos esp. Not a very good design.... AND. Put me back $$$.

I still feel like there is a flooding of cards. I'd prefer the two releases.

First release.
18 card team
3 card team insert.
2 card team insert.
1 card team insert.

Second release.
9 card team set (with logo)
3 card insert.
2 card insert.
1 card insert.

The 1 card insert should be a signature card. Even if the first series was a young gun. Second series was a legend/league sensation. Even inserts. Everyone should get a hit. And VISUALLY PLEASING sets. I can't stamd uneven inserts.... Sets my OCD off...

Not looking forward to future releases. At all.

I like this approach, with fixed levels of inserts and balance across teams and across the two releases.
My only question is - is it possible to supply an 18-card first release with the risk of players changing clubs late in the season or in the pre-season?

We all seem to agree:
  • Too big a release for a Series 1
  • Get rid of parallels and introduce perpendiculars or transversals.....

I know not funny unless you love maths, what I'm trying to say is do something different.

As a team collector I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the checklist with no St George Legend Signature and No St George Duo to me that says it all when as a team collector your almost hoping all of your teams cards will be lower end.
