G'day all.

Just letting you know from the baseball side of the hobby that the 2005 SP Legendary Cuts Autograph Quad Cuts 1/1 (Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Wagner, Johnson) on ebay just sold for the grand sum of US $85,000.00 (AU $113,016.89).

Imagine pulling a card that could pay your mortgage off.
 
shit man thats one serious card! :shock: on that subject does anyone know the price of the most expensive card to ever sell???
 
*jaw dropped* :shock: 1.5 mill for a piece of cardboard.......im starting to think that we are all nutcases in this hobby :) ....has one sold for that much chad?
 
Yeah they have sold for that. Its not a BV price. There are less then 20 in existance and he was one of the games greats. His auto was on the cut auto card.

I remember a few years ago Wayne Gretzky went halves in one with a mate. You know its pricey then LOL

Here is a pic of the elusive card for those that have never seen this masterpiece.

To put it in prospective a Babe Ruth RC psa 8 sold for the same price as a Wagner RC psa 1 :shock: :shock: :shock:
