I am of the opinion that Lou Gehrig cards are very undervalued indeed. He's in the top 5 best hitters of all-time, plus he had The Streak until Cal overtook it.

I say but it your only gonna pull 1 decent card (if that) from the pack as 3 of the cards are just simple cards out of 250.

I say bust it and if you want to then sell the singular decent card afterward, it probably won't be an Auto due to the age of the player in question, but will most likely have a bat and patch card (from what i've seen)

Lou Gehrig, one of best NY Yankees who has ever put on the pinstripes. He held the record for most games played in a row, 3000+ until Cal Ripken Jr. Beat his mark. He was also a 1st baseman during the 1920's-1940's. He played on the same teams as Babe Ruth, Bill Dickey, Tony Lazzari, and Lefty Gomez. He was a players player, hit for power, average, and played the field.

I just checked on ebay and someone is selling the same box unopened for 1349.00 USD

I would say that you got a great product on your hands!

Some of his cards are going for blah.... I would sell it, but then again, to have his signature again in my hot hands might make it hard for me not to bust it. Either way, good luck on your decision.

Now if that was me, I would bury that puppy for a good long time, sell it in 10 years unopened as that is when you will get a lot of interest when the market recovers, otherwise, open it up and get something that you will be very happy with. MOJO does not cover the actual term used for this. This is beyond MOJO as its like getting a Michael Jordan signed card. From what I can remember of the discrption of the product, you can get a cut signature, if this is so, the card value would be worth much more then Jordans, thats for sure.

i have done my research on him and im very familar with what he has brought the the game of baseball. its not the first gehrig that i have pulled. i also have a sweet 3 peice from 08 prime cuts.BASEBALL CARDS :: DSC01583.jpg picture by bmw01k - Photobucket
any i had it up on ebay to see what offers i could get for it. ive also did some research on what gehrig cards have come out of this and the bat barrel and cut auto all have been pulled, so no major hits were going to be in this box. the best offer i recived for it was a lame 400us for it. so i didnt end up selling it and went ahead and busted it, hoping to add a sweet card for my PC. vid will be comming up soon. hope you enjoy watching it!!
