OK, that's 5 people ready to start one up now and a couple more interested after christmas.

I think we should start by having an 8 team season now (as soon as we grab a couple more people) and using it as a bit of a trial run. Then if it proves successful we can make any minor adjustments to the settings that are neccesary and try to expand the league for its 2nd season.

If everyone is happy with that i'll post up some general settings and get the league opened so those people ready can at least get joined while we wait for the last couple of recruits.

I guess team selection will be based on a 1st come 1st served basis?

Yeah sounds alrite to me...so not drafting via fantasy draft?

I think for the first attempt we should start as NBA teams and look at a possible fantasy draft for season 2.

Here are the league settings (all are negotiable before they get locked in). Please voice your opinions if you would like anything changed or discussed.

Season
Difficulty: All Star
Number of Teams: 8
Playoff Teams: 4
Season Length: 10 Games (Other options are 15,20,30,40,82)
Round Interval: 3 Days (Other options - can range from 1 day to 1 week)
Quarter Length: 8 Mins
Sim Quarter Length: 8 Mins
Flexible Schedule: On
Injuries: On
Fantasy Draft: Off
Trading: On
Trade Deadline: On
Conference Finals: Best of 3
Finals: Best of 3
Custom Game Sliders: Off

Yeah i better start practising i've been playing My Player only, played one Franchise game a few weeks ago and had lost my touch :eek: If were calling teams now i'll take the C's

Alright, season has been created.

You can go to Game Modes > Online Leagues > Join League

Search by name and our league is called Ozcard Season 1

Password is ozcard

Join whenever you are ready to reserve your team. I had to select a team when creating the league and ended up picking Portland. I wanted to give Orlando a try but they were rated to highly for my liking. :)

Obviously there isn't a lot to look at right now until the season actually tips off :)

If you look in the standings section you'll see that we only have one main conference. This can be changed but i think with only 8 teams one conference is fine. Perhaps if we get to the point of expanding the league in future seasons we can create two conferences. Also, if anyone has any friends that have NBA2K10 and would like to join the league feel free to point them to it. Would like to try and keep it to the Aussie community as much as possible though.

OK, Got a header page on the homepage now. Also, Trav and Vivo may need to re-enter the league as when i was changing some things you both vanished. name and login details haven't changed.

Other than that we are ready to go as soon as the 8th person joins.
