90's Redemption Cards. How olds too old

How olds too old before they stop sending them back?
I see a few 98 boxes floating around are they worth buying?

I just redeemed a card from 96. I dropped Select an email beforehand just to make sure, and was told to follow the directions on the back (with a slightly updated address).
Their website has which cards they no longer redeem.
