MyMallBox....the end of the line

I would think that the issue originated with your value inputs on MMB when (IF) you declared your incoming packages and their actual (real) values. I made sure to declare lower when declaring the incoming packages.

I too have ditched MMB.

I had a paid of shoes sent there worth $400 AUD and the tracking said delivered. But they claimed they never got them and said that the person that signed for them (as recorded on the tracking online) doesn't actually work for them. This was the last straw for me with MMB.
Not wasting my time with those incompetent c*nts anymore. Happy to pay someone like Bryan & Xochitl Wells from Ship My Cards and build their business as he has a personal passion for the hobby and collecting.
The part in my bold is the big issue with them for me at the moment.
I was their number one fan for a while, but I've had a couple of things (just two t shirts don't get me wrong, worth around $40 combined and nothing to be in sweats over, but still) that were reportedly delivered by Fedex a while ago (start of December). After 10 days or so, it still doesn't appear in MMB's dashboard so I get an email (that was quick ill give them that), that says its an issue with the carrier so call Fanatics (the company that sold the shirts) and see what can be done. I called Fanatics up, and luckily they were kind about it and sent me a replacement package that supposedly arrived on Monday US time... still nothing :/ I mean I get its the holiday season, but still just odd.
I got a few things in MMB; a flask, a couple of cards and a hat, but that'll all be shipped out once I figure out what happened with these shirts.
Don't think I'll be using MMB again after this shipment.

Yeah man you've been a huge supporter with no issues barring the above for ages. I guess unfortunately you've now had a situation like most of us have had with them. Once all my latest shipments have been processed I'll be sending my stuff home to Oz for the last time with MMB.
Will probs go back to COMC I guess.
The main problem with their receivals seems to be that "another business" in that complex must be open on the weekend and the postal people must just drop it to them and then we hope they pass it on to MMB. In the years I have been using them I've had 2 low value items lost but was refunded and another lost with nothing refunded. Never had anything damaged either. For the most part they've been ok but it just seems a matter of time before someone really gets fkd over by their hap hazardness.

Yeah I would love to say I would use COMC... but since they don't send other stuff that isn't cards, I'll probably have to end up finding a facebook group or something where I can just get everything sent home.
One thing that is worth noting with MMB - companies know about them. I ordered from the NBA store on Black Friday and had it automatically refunded. when I called up, the NBA store rep literally told me that my address was a high fraud address. Makes some sort of sense

I only ever stuck with them because while everybody else had issues with them, I didn't. I had emails that took too long, but they always came back to me; once this issue with the shirts is resolved, I can't use them again. Just too big of a risk

Use ShipMyCards, they are great, Bryan is a member on here also. @ShipMyCards

Received a shipment last Friday. Waiting on repack on one more (3 days and counting).

I agree with most of the sentiments on here. The inconsistencies and the complete decline in customer service is incredibly frustrating. 5 year customer...almost 6 years with these guys and they haven't been bothered to answer my emails in nearly 5 weeks!

Just curious, has anyone tried giving their parent company a call? The parent company is actually very active on social media (which is a step up compared to MMB lol), but like MMB, they don't respond to any customer inquiries.

At this stage, I just want to get this one shipment home. And then reassess the situation.

Don't waste your time with the rest as other's have mentioned already @ShipMyCards has a great service with great communication and I've heard Bryan also has a tax free address as well, this is the new and better way of shipping your cards/non card related items from the US!

Yep literally paid just now for the last few items I'm sending home from them. I haven't had any major issues with them, thanks to the parent company refunding my items that supposedly weren't delivered to MMB twice, but I have had minor ones, and considering all these other issues people have had, it isn't worth holding on. Shipmycards it is

Hijacking the thread a little bit

Is it worth having a Shipmycards account only if you are buying a card on the rare occasion (1 card every couple months or so) or better to just take the cost on the chin?

I know a few threads go around about MyMallBox, so after they stole yet another package from me (worth about $100 USD) I decided to act. I've contacted the New Caste, Delaware Police Department to file a complaint. I suggest you all do the same (if you've been ripped off and actually have a complaint). This can be done online.

I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Delaware. You'll need a specific complaint, and details of the situation. But this was suggested to me by a freind in the legal field over there. Best way to ruffle some feathers and hopefully get an outcome. Linke below:

Finally for those who are't aware, MyMallBox is part of another another company, Simple Global. You can ring them at +1 888 948 8061 or email [email protected].

Whilst I'm yet to have any troubles with MMB, all these stories are leaning me towards moving to shipmycards. I have a few Qs though.

I have just registered, but its unclear what the charges are...

Can someone give em a basic run down of costs?

And the main advantage that I have with MMB is that you can just ship a basic air mail service, instead of DHL or FedEx or whatever. Although it generally takes 6 weeks to get here, I have never in my time ever lost a shipment or (more importantly) been stopped for GST using this basic service. A lot of the time (I collect cheap players) shipping DHL or the like would cost more than the cards are worth.

Do I supply the card value when it is delivered too? on MMB I do, and I just say every card is $1 in case it ever does get stopped.
