I agree. Have been saying for years I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product. What I don't like is paying a premium for an inferior product. More than happy to pay $6.99 a pack. This release so far sounds like maybe their best since 05 Dynasty and 06 Supreme.

Well at thank god I've finally received a date in terms of when the sell sheet will be released and that from me with my own guesses/ideas for now!!!

Will throw this one out there for you Scotty. Pretty obscure and more than likely not related, but Norm racked up a total of 460 disposals in his 23 finals matches for the Catters. Certified Finals Performer? ;)

That is bloody brilliant detective work Paul - I was thinking maybe it was his total disposals for 2015, and attempted to calculate them. It then became obvious: :)

I reckon it would probably be 1 major hit per box not 2, but the chance of better hits with jerseys and autos etc.

Last year there were 600 cases (16 box cases) = 9600 boxes - signatures were numbered to 400.

This is a very rough guess but say its the same print run this year.....

Say there are 9 jersey cards - signature versions to 50 and unsigned to 150 = 1800 cards in total

That leaves 7800 boxes left with a signature hit = approx 215 per signature card.

I reckon a case would be something like this:

1 Case Hit Jersey Signature
2 Unsigned Jersey Cards
13 Signature Cards

As I said, its a very rough guess but I would be surprised if there was a jersey and signature per box.

In second thoughts I think 460 card will be of an inset somewhat equivalent to the low end Hot Numbers from series 1

I've seen a couple of people suggest that the 460 could refer to the number of cards produced, but my gut feeling is that won't be it. In general, if I remember correctly, Select don't tend to use that number on the front of the card or as part of the name of the subset. Could be wrong though!
 
If $250.00 or whatever proves to be the price of a box, then I can sort of appreciate a certain expectation that it guarantees something.

That said, "one or major hits per box" are not even minor hits. It's daft.

plowman was traded for a shoebox and packet of chips to carlton. still plowing away there but my expectations are not for long. and Elijah that is the most confusing post I have ever seen lol I tried to read it several times and still have no idea what half the words mean!!'
