Yeah, not wrong. I was expecting a couple of bids early then a little more right at the end. Close enough to 50 people watching it (majority of those just curious though), and a couple of questions about ending the item early (which I won't be doing). Anyway, I've got some popcorn left over from watching the NRL Elite Box opening thread yesterday so I might throw that back in the microwave.
 
Your right Andrew, there will probably be people out there who think that. To cater for those I have just added a note to the listing. Should have put it in at the start but thought, as you mentioned, that ending after the GF would be a giveaway.

I was hoping that the 1 of 2 angle would get people interested. It was the only redeeming part of the card I could think of. (see what I did there... redeeming)
 
Why was it 1/2? Didnt esp give the redemptions back like they do with the number 1s?
 
I think over $400 plus very rare to have a unredeemed card with this limitation !
There is no difference in the actual card it self its just that if you redeem the card it will have a hole it and you will get grand final tickets !
The card itself has no hole which makes it more wanted !
A 1995 Mal meninga K-Mart unredeemed went for over $700 a few years ago !

There's gotta be a care factor too. The mal kmart card has mal on it. It appealed to qld fans, raiders fans and mal fans. The grand final ticket card has no real appeal other than rarity. People going for a master set would want it... It's a great addition for the "want everything" person. Someone with a website selling cards. If it had a picture of someone on it.... It would be worth so much more.

Yeah agree 100% Mirren your right champ thats why this card i would expect it to go around the $350-$400 mark ? I might be wrong but thats just my thought !
 
I totally agree. If I had the master minus this.... I would pay about $500 for it myself..... To complete the set. Knowing only 6 people could finish it.
 
Is it just because there was no extra card given that ppl think an unredeemed one is worth more?as i could b wrong but i haven't seen other unredeemed cards as being worth more then redeemed ones with the hole. I'm guessing this is due to not having the additional card if it is unredeemed?

I think it's more it's not hole punched.

But if I wanted one, knowing there was only 6.... I'd be happy if it was hole punched or not hole punched..

I agree but surely we aren't saying an unreemed future force or predictor etc is worth more then a redeemed one because it doesn't have a hole punched when it is missing the other card, surely it is only possibly worth more because it isn't missing anything by being unredeemed

I saw one go for $840 with a hole in it. You have to remember though it is nearly 30 yrs old

These cards we are talking about are not part of a set like the predictors and other such cards. These are a one off with no holes in them. Also a limited edition run of them. Not 1 in every box or 2
