signed common cards

Has anyone ever tried to get every base card signed In a set for any year.

Does anyone on here think it is even possible.

I understand some clubs don't do ttm but I'm sure most players would be accessable at training etc for Melbourne's based fans

I am pretty sure one of the NRL collectors is pretty close to finishing a full set of signed commons

i pretty much do it every year with NRL cards, best of luck with AFL though as far as i know you guys get little to no access

getting a whole base set of AFL would be a massive ask unless you posted them to the clubs and every team and player actually agrees to do it. On game day before and after the games I have never tried, but at AAMI I think the players have underground parking so I guess they are not generally accessable, happy to be told otherwise.
I can only speak for Port Adelaide, but I get my Port commons and Draft Rookie cards signed by going to training a few times a year, players there are always happy to sign. I guess it is on 'company time' rather than there own free time. Also Port has a tent set up outside AAMI on game day and occasionally a player with a card might be injured and sits and signs autographs.

I have got my NRL 2010 and 2011 Champions sets completed. It is possible. Believe it or not I spent about 2 hours of Sunday morning surrounded by the Adelaide Crows team and not a signle AFL card on me.

It's possible with alot of paitence, trading with other people and ebay. Hate to use ebay but if i'm short a sig card then i wanna make sure it's the real deal.

I have about half my strike done and still going. The 2012 ones is starting to come along well 2 teams down 14 t go lol.

I have never done TTM. I get a majority of my cards Hand signed and trade with guys I trust to finish my sets. I will occasionally buy from Ebay but it is not prefered. I usually get alot of signed doubles so I can limit my spending and do alot of swapping.

I think I have 1 or 2 from various years. He is at evry home game so its not hard to get more.
