i think St Kilda did ok to get Schneider, Dempster, King and Gardiner and still hold onto pick #9

I hope scotty selwood falls to us

When is the draft?

West coast are looking pretty good with those picks. Thought they maybe could've added another current player to change dynamics rather than Josh Kennedy, but the Eagles always make pretty good draft choices. Train them up well for the league.

I reckon the Tiges did OK picking up Jordan McMahon and Mitch Morton and still keeping their high picks....and we've still got the #1 pick in the pre-season draft up our sleeve!!

Good to see a fair bit of action during this week....I think all the retirements have forced a few teams to make some of the moves that occured.

It's hard to say who did the best (Apart from Carlton) as I don't know all teams as well as the one I support but I am certainly happy to see West Coast with so many early picks in a deep talented draft :)

It looks like the WCE has 2 First round and 2 second round Draft Picks !!!

So I'll be having to buy TWO Draft Pick Auto's next year (lol)......it may just be worth buying my first box in a couple of years ;)

The Saints did sensationally I reckon Matty.
Some really nice pick ups there
And King will come across with a bit of a point to prove to the Cats I think.

Charlie Gardiner and Steven King to Saint Kilda for pick 90

Thats an NBA deal!

Its classic addition by subtraction; the Cats get rid of King and Gardiner, acquire pick 90 to use for this years Father-Son for the club (can't for the life of me remember who it is) and along with trading Callan (Western Bulldogs) and Playfair (Sydney), frees up salary cap room and list spots (The Cats want to promote 3 of this years rookies to the main list and didnt have anyone retire to free up list spots; watch they delist a few more players) as well as giving this players (who frankly were on their last chance and arent good enough to play seniors at Geelong on a regular basis).

Im glad to see King leave in that he will continue to be able to play seniors, rather than play a few games each year and spend the majority of his time in the 2nds.

Kudos to Saint Kilda for picking up a couple of players in King and Charlie Gardiner can really help you guys; King and Michael Gardiner in a ruck/forward pocket combo, and I think Gardiner will get a fair crack at FF now Gehrig is retired.

That said, you better hope that your injury curse is gone, because King is a very brittle player.

Yes...It was Steven King AND CHarlie Gardiner

Wow how about we throw in ablett and bartel and see if we can get their 70th pick. JESUS CHRIST!!!!!. I dont know whats goin on down there but i guess ill just have to go with it. But on face value that is RIDICULOUS
