Australian Player Game Used collector
Hi All,
just thought I'd start a thread about the 2009 World Baseball Classic. The groups have been announced and we're in with Cuba, Mexico & South Africa...playing in Mexico.
Seems there are 4 different hosts with the 4 groups of 4 plaing in different countries.

To be honest, this intrests me more than the Olympics. Here we have ALL the best players in the world playing together. It's a bit like football at the Olympics, almost the "B" sides playing.
This will occur after the Claxton Shield so I would assume that alot of the MLB players will be playing in the Shield to garner selection in the WBC. All good for baseball in Australia!
