I've read a few comments lately from members who say they burn their unwanted cards. It shocked me to read that so many members discard their less valuable cards.
I am a primary school teacher and last year alone, I introduced collecting to a solid group of 25-35 children in Year 4. They obviously used their pocket money to purchase packs and I generously supported their collections with my excess stock. Some of you may have even bought their cards on ebay (they had a good run on NRL sigs) - it's amazing how easy it is to teach financial literacy when we're using real money!
I'll throw it out there to all those guys that would normally bin their base (any sport) ... send me a pm or a make a post with details for postage and I'll buy your cards. I give you my word that they'll be used for educational and hobby promotion purposes. I guess a man's word may not go to far these days but for those who hold it dear, then you have it.
